# Electrician Helper Pro

> AI electrical code diagnostic app for iPhone. Photograph any electrical job; get the hazards and NEC violations cited to the edition your state enforces, then a lockout-gated, step-by-step repair procedure with tools, materials and the test that proves each step. Built-in assistant for follow-up questions, offline 50-state NEC adoption database, five field calculators, contractor-branded PDF estimates. No account.

Every record in the NEC edition data was reviewed on 2026-09-07, and twelve records again on 2026-09-10 or 2026-09-15; statewide adoptions are checked against state sources, not trade trackers. Eight jurisdictions enforce NEC 2026 (Arkansas, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Dakota, Texas, Wyoming); the app cites whichever edition a state enforces and says so when its library summaries are an older edition. Arizona, Hawaii, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri and Nevada have no statewide adoption: cities and counties adopt their own, so the app labels the edition it cites current and says it varies locally.

The 22 questions the app checks in one tap, in the electrician's words: Is anything double-tapped in this panel? Is this panel bonded and grounded correctly? Are the breakers sized right for their wires? Does this service have capacity for the load? Is the grounding electrode system right? Is there enough working clearance here? Is this aluminum wiring safe as terminated? What gauge and ampacity is this wire? Is this box overfilled? Is this conduit overfilled? What is the voltage drop on this run? Are these receptacles and switches to code? Are these fixtures mounted and rated right? Does this kitchen have the required circuits? Is the bathroom GFCI-protected on its own circuit? Are the outdoor outlets GFCI and weather-rated? Is this pool or spa wiring bonded and protected? Is this EV charger circuit to code? Is this generator interlock done right? Is this motor or HVAC circuit sized right? Is this solar or battery install compliant? Is this low-voltage wiring run right?

Calculators: Voltage drop (NEC 210.19 / 215.2 informational 3% and 5%), box fill (NEC 314.16(B)), conduit fill (NEC Chapter 9 Tables 1, 4 and 5), wire ampacity (NEC Table 310.16 with 240.4(D) limits), dwelling service load (NEC 220.82 optional method).
